There is a large construction site around the building. Backhoe was right in front of the balcony. Constant noise from construction machinery.

in front of the house, street was closed due to construction works that were so noisy that the terrace could not be used, is the main attraction of this accommodation; construction works were so noisy and went on day and night without a break, could be heard even through the closed doors. nevertheless, hotel did not give us a discount, would be our risk. we could have been informed in advance, construction work has been going on for a long time and will continue.

This place is perfectly situated near the Riverwalk, amidst a downtown area with great riverfront views, shops, and restaurants.

River Suites is an apartment building managed by The Ballast Hotel which is part of the Hilton chain. Occupancy of an apartment entitles you to use the hotel's facilities: restaurants, swimming pool, bar... building is ideally located in the city centre, with a magnificent view of the Cape Fear River. cleanliness of the accommodation and its facilities needs to be improved: a chair had a broken leg and some careless guests had put dirty dishes back in the cupboard, staff did not check.... Friendly and efficient welcome at the Ballast Hotel. Paid parking at the hotel, US$12 per day.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Riverview Suites At Water Street Center. the hotel is big, clean, and has an amazing restaurant. the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a unique apartment with utensils and a fridge in the bedroom closet.

The room was brand-new and had a relaxing view of the Harbor. A fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and cooktop was available. the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. the location was lovely and within walking distance of everything.

I loved the room with great views, the bed was lovely. Great service was provided too. Moreover, I parked nearby. Its perfect, very central location was a plus.
